Please join DLIT for our annual fundraising event on Saturday evening, March 19th at the Endicott Estate in Dedham, the culmination program of Dedham’s 6th annual community-wide reading event Dedham Reads Together. This year’s book choice is The Lincoln Letter, a historical suspense novel by best-selling author William Martin, who will be in attendance at the gala. As The Lincoln Letter takes place in the 1860s, DLIT has chosen this time period as the backdrop theme for its celebration event, which will include a presentation at 6:30 p.m. by Martin about the Lincoln Presidency and the Civil War, followed by a fundraising event including food and drink, live music and a silent auction. Civil War period costumes encouraged (but not required)! Ticket price includes all refreshments, music and author presentation. Thank you for supporting DLIT, and our town's public and school libraries.
Please see the DLIT facebook page for other pre-event ticket purchasing options. Tickets will also be available at the door for $45.
